Short bio: I am an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) at Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University. I obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Colorado State University under the supervision of Prof. Indrakshi Ray, where I got my M.S. degree. I received another M.S from IAU and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Kashan University in Iran. Prior to moving to the US, I worked in tech companies for 8 years.Â
My research focuses on machine learning and cyber-security, which I have applied to several cyber-security problems including social engineering attacks, security of heavy vehicles, and security of IoT devices and networks. I teach core and elective MIS courses such as Business Applications Programming and Object-Oriented Programming for Business Applications.
